2022 is already off to a huge start on Caffeine, with tons of buzz around the multiple new partner collaborations coming on platform to keep the momentum we saw in 2021 going. That’s why Caffeine is upping the ante internally in order to make sure our product features are top-notch, for both our viewers and creators. With plans to continually roll out product updates on Caffeine, we are excited to announce the hiring of our new VP of Product, Taj Corinaldi.
\r\n\r\nTaj brings 10 years of experience in product development, strategy and analysis at leading companies like Facebook, Hulu, Fullscreen Media and more. At Facebook, Taj developed Paid Sports Fan Clubs for FC Barcelona and Real Madrid, before taking Fan Subscriptions product out of beta, to grow over 3X. With Hulu, he launched acquisition partnerships with Spotify and Sprint, delivering over 25% of the total acquired users for the year and developing new cross-platform engagement concepts to unify music and video experiences, and at Fullscreen, he built social engagement features including Watch Party.
\r\n\r\nTaj was drawn to Caffeine because of the platform’s ability to enable social and premium content to exist together and build upon each other, something that other streaming and social platforms have yet to master. Since starting at Caffeine, Taj has helped roll out the implementation of live reactions on platform, helping to enable fans to continue the discussion of the live events they love so much on Caffeine long after the event has ended. He's especially excited to kickstart product updates that better enable interaction with and around live content. His long-term goal at Caffeine? To normalize multimedia reactions by viewers as the next common form of engagement around live television.
